The rapper was released from New York’s infamous Clinton Correctional Facility just before 8:30 Tuesday morning, which is about 10 months earlier than expected.
Shmurda will now be under parole supervision for the next 5 years until Feb. 23, 2026.

Other nominees are Kate Bush, Devo, Foo Fighters, The Go-Go’s, Iron Maiden, Chaka Khan, Fela Kuti, New York Dolls, Rage Against the Machine, Todd Rundgren and Dionne Warwick.
The inductees will be announced in May, the induction ceremony will take place in Cleveland, Ohio in the fall.
